It is now much easier to protect kids from solar radiation during fishing trips. The Kid's Solar Tech Hoody features technologies developed for sun protection. This quick-drying kids' hoodie with COR3™ fabric is designed to fight odors and wick away moisture, keeping them dry throughout the fishing trip. It is rated UPF 30 for sun protection, with arms and shoulders built for comfort and natural movement.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is blocked. A fabric with a rating of 30 allows only 1/30th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes from Simms last for the lifetime of the garment.
