Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Katafront Hoody is part of Simms' portfolio, a lightweight jacket made from polyester. As a hoody jacket, Simms designed this piece for cooler days, featuring two hand-warming pockets and a zippered chest pocket. Other notable features include elastic cuffs and a waterproof hood.
