Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on some of the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer no matter the weather.

Body temperature on hot summer days can suffer, but the Double Haul shirt keeps skin cool with powerful UPF 30 sun protection, moisture-wicking, and breathable fabric, powered by a 4-way stretch construction for comfort at every angle. You can store fishing accessories in the three upper pockets to stay on the water longer. This stylish shirt is perfect for wearing on the street, not just when fishing.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is blocked. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All Simms UPF finishes last for the garment’s lifetime.
