Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on some of the world's most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the standards needed to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The CX Hoody is a comfortable, warm, and soft-to-the-touch hoodie, perfect for outdoor adventures or city strolls. Key features include a breathable, soft fleece interior, a water-resistant outer layer, and a three-panel hood with simple adjustment via a drawcord. The cuffs and hem are made from lightweight fabric engineered with the latest material technologies to maximize comfort and warmth. A kangaroo pocket with an additional zippered pocket rounds out the essential features for the wearer. In addition, the hoodie features DWR-treated softshell fabrics for enhanced water resistance.
