Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After decades of providing customers with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the standards to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Challenger Shirt is a fishing shirt that blends classic design with modern functionality, crafted from lightweight heather polyester fabric that stretches and dries quickly. It features a classic point collar, a central back loop for hanging, and front button closure. Chest pockets include drop-in button closure pockets and a hidden zippered bonus pocket for easy storage of essentials. The back yoke extends over the shoulders for improved stretch and mobility, while a back vent provides comfort in warm weather. The body is made of 100% polyester with a plain weave fabric weighing 115 g/m².
