The SLX XT 151 model replaces the CASITAS 2016. The Shimano SLX XT 2019 sports a body made of HAGANE alloy, while the CASITAS 2016 has a composite alloy body. A key advantage of the SLX 2018 model is the inclusion of the SVS Infinity braking system. This gives the reel a much wider braking adjustment range compared to the VBS brakes found on SLX 2018 models.
