The Shimano Metanium MGL 151 B HG is a compact, versatile, and durable multiplier equipped with 11 (10+1) state-of-the-art bearings. Weighing only 180g, it offers excellent maneuverability, allowing for easy casting of lures over considerable distances. It features an ultra-fast retrieval ratio of 7.1:1, resulting in approximately 76cm of line retrieved per crank, enabling a spectacular presentation of lures.

The new Shimano Metanium MGL reel has a housing made from magnesium, and the brake adjustment constructed from Ci4 material offers performance at a very low weight. The Superfree S3D finished spool is made from MGL III alloy, which reduces the reel's inertia by 17%, allowing for longer casts. The SVS Infinity system allows you to adjust the braking for different lure weights, while the X-Ship Micromodule transmission system provides smooth and consistent retrieval.

NOTE: The major difference from the MGL 151 B model is the new larger pinion, which dramatically improves transmission power, making the MGL 151 B HG nearly twice as powerful in terms of transmission/retrieval compared to the previous model.
