Their remarkable sensitivity felt during use is the result of two exclusive Shimano technologies. By utilizing the new Hi-Power X Construction technology, twisting has been significantly reduced, allowing a more efficient and easier transfer of energy through the blank when used under heavy loads.

Equipped with CI4+ reel seats and Carbon Monocoque handles that transmit more feedback from the blank to the hand, the Expride rods offer maximum sensitivity and full control over lure retrieval. The reduced weight of the rods and the use of this type of reel seat and handle allow detection of any vibration regardless of intensity or whether it is caused by changes in lure trajectory or fish bites, with sensitivity increased by up to 30% compared to previous models. This rod comes equipped with Fuji Stainless Steel guides with SiC inserts.
