The Shimano Curado DC HG is a compact, versatile, and durable baitcasting reel, equipped with 7 (6BB+1RB) state-of-the-art bearings and MicroModule gearing that ensures smooth operation and eliminates vibrations. Weighing only 195g, it offers excellent handling, allowing precise casting of lures to specific spots. It features a fast retrieve ratio of 7.4:1, resulting in approximately 79cm of line retrieved per handle turn, enabling spectacular lure presentation.

The new Shimano Curado DC HG comes with a DC braking system at a more affordable price point. The I-DC4 braking system (4 adjustable braking levels) helps anglers cast better and reduces direction changes. The combination of a Magnumlite spool system, Superfree braking system, and X-Ship drive system provides increased drag resistance, making the reel suitable for pike fishing with medium and large lures.
