Shimano Bantam World Rush Flash Boost is a floating crankbait lure designed for targeting predatory fish around submerged structures, fallen trees, rocks, or vegetation. The Hybrid Edge square bill allows the lure to effectively ricochet off obstacles, reducing hang-ups and helping it quickly return to its natural action. FLASH BOOST technology uses a reflector suspended on micro-springs that continues to emit flashes even during pauses.

In addition to FLASH BOOST, the lure features SCALE BOOST technology, which reproduces a natural scale appearance with a three-dimensional holographic finish. The recommended retrieve is "crank & pause", allowing the lure to dive to about 2m, and during pauses it rises slowly toward the surface in a rocking motion, during which the FLASH BOOST reflections remain active.
