The Zeck Rippler is a shad developed by well-known German angler Uli Beyer, designed to combine a large profile with reduced weight and a natural action in the water. Its special deep-rib design reduces the lure’s weight and improves body flexibility, allowing a very natural movement and easy strikes from predators.

Thanks to its lightweight construction, even the larger versions can be comfortably fished on lighter rods, without excessive fatigue during retrieval. The Rippler is specifically intended for pike fishing, proving effective on soft rigs or jigs, especially in shallow water.

The lure allows adjustment of its action depending on preference or season. With the upper tip of the tail intact, the action is slower and more subtle, suitable for cold water or wary predators. After removing the tail tip, the action becomes more aggressive and energetic, ideal for warm periods and active fish.
