The latest version of the C-Series carp bite alarms now features an even more robust construction and multiple enhanced functions. The Prologic C-Series Pro alarms can be considered the best among all models released so far. They offer six levels of sensitivity, tones, and volume (including silent mode). One of the new features is the easy differentiation between a run or a Drop Back bite – when the swinger falls, meaning the fish is moving toward the bank. In the case of a run, the left LED will light up for 20 seconds; when there’s a movement toward the bank, the white LED on the right will light up.

The angler can also audibly distinguish between the two types of bites, as the drop-back always has a low tone regardless of which other tones are selected. A 2.5 mm jack allows connection to an illuminated swinger or hanger, and the sensor’s separate night light is activated by pressing a button. The sensors are also weather-resistant and have rubberized housing to ensure durability. The signal transmitted to the receiver operates optimally in open areas up to a maximum distance of 100m. If there are terrain features that may interfere, the maximum range decreases.
