Salmo Slider Sinking SD5S Wobbler, Real Hot Perch, 5cm, 8.5g

Salmo Slider SD5S Sinking Lure, Real Hot Perch, 5cm, 8.5g

The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago, becoming legendary among predator anglers. It’s no surprise that this lure has broken numerous personal records for anglers (both beginners and competitive). The launch of the Slider lures marked a new high standard in artificial baits. Retrieving this lure is very easy; any retrieval technique is effective, and the lure's movement mimics that of an injured prey fish. The colder the water, the more each movement should be accompanied by a fairly long pause (up to 3 seconds).

It is recommended for fishing pike, zander, perch, and catfish. Usually, the Slider is fished with a series of regular rod jerks (abrupt and aggressive), while the retrieval should be fast. Before using this lure, it is recommended to cast it a few times in clear water to observe its action (for improving your use technique). The Slider is effective for trolling, left behind the boat between 10m and 30m, jerking it as you would when casting, every few seconds.

NOTE: Floating models are highly recommended during the warm season when vegetation is abundant and the water column available is very shallow, while sinking models are recommended in areas with less vegetation or in deeper water.
