Salmo Rattlin' Slider SD8 lure, Color BRP, 8cm, 20g

Salmo Rattlin' Slider Sinking Lure, Color BRP, 8cm, 20g

The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago, becoming legendary among predator anglers. It's no surprise that this lure has broken many personal records for anglers (both beginners and competitors). The Salmo Rattlin' Slider features the same proven action as the Slider lure, but this model has been upgraded internally with a special chamber containing rattling metal beads that produce low-frequency vibrations, while its aerodynamic shape further enhances casting distance.

Launching the Slider lures represented a new superior quality in the world of artificial baits. Retrieving this lure is very easy; any retrieval technique is effective, and the lure’s movement mimics that of an injured baitfish. The colder the water, the more each movement should be accompanied by a fairly long pause (up to 3 seconds).

It’s recommended for pike fishing, usually fished with a series of regular rod jerks (sharp and aggressive), while maintaining a fast retrieve. Before using this lure, it’s advisable to cast it a few times in clear water to observe its action (to improve your lure handling technique).
