Rapala X-Rap Lure, Clown (CLN), 8cm, 7g

Rapala X-Rap Lure, Clown (CLN), 8cm, 7g

The Rapala X-Rap is a minnow-style lure designed for freshwater predator fishing, prized for its aggressive action and versatility. Its translucent, elongated body and realistic finish mimic a baitfish, while the raised scales, pronounced lateral line and internal holographic foil create enticing flashes on the retrieve. The internal Long-Cast system enables long, accurate casts, making it ideal for fishing rivers, lakes and reservoirs.

Its distinctive Slashbait action produces fast, darting movements and sharp changes of direction when the rod is twitched, imitating an injured or disoriented baitfish. Suspending buoyancy keeps the lure at its running depth during pauses, giving predators more time to strike. It can be fished with a steady retrieve, twitching or jerking, adapting to different fishing conditions. 3D holographic eyes, a rattling system and a rear treble dressed with shimmering feathers enhance the lure’s appeal.
