Rapala Shallow Shad Rap Lure, SD, 7cm, 7g

Rapala Shallow Shad Rap Lure, SD, 7cm, 7g

The Rapala Shallow Shad Rap is a crankbait designed for freshwater predator fishing, especially in shallow areas. Its balsa wood body has a natural baitfish profile, while the front lip ensures a stable, controlled action on the retrieve. Its balanced construction and realistic finishes make it a great choice for fishing lakes, rivers and reservoirs, whether spinning or trolling.

The Shallow Shad Rap’s characteristic action produces rhythmic side-to-side movement and enticing vibrations, imitating the movement of a baitfish. Its floating design allows the lure to rise towards the surface during pauses, helping it avoid underwater obstacles. It can be fished with a steady, slow retrieve or with changes of speed, and is fitted with two VMC Black Nickel treble hooks. The Shad (SD) colour pattern replicates the natural appearance of a baitfish, making it suitable for clear water.
