The Rapala RipStop Deep is a lure designed for predator fishing, featuring an innovative RipStop tail system that allows it to stop abruptly during the retrieve. Its front diving lip takes the lure down to depths of 2.40-2.90m, while the realistic body profile produces rapid side-to-side movements and attractive flashes. The Suspending version stays in the water column during pauses, making it suitable for targeting pike, zander and other predators.

The Dual Control system, consisting of a front diving lip and a rigid plastic tail, creates a dynamic action with rapid accelerations and abrupt stops. After stopping, the lure produces subtle vibrations and slowly lifts its head, imitating the behaviour of a vulnerable baitfish. The lure is fitted with three VMC Black Nickel treble hooks and can be fished with a steady retrieve, twitching, jerking or stop-and-go retrieves.
