Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, MKY, 12cm, 15g

Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, MKY, 12cm, 15g

The Rapala RipStop Deep is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and eye-catching colours. Designed for targeting predatory species such as zander, perch, pike and asp, it is suitable for fishing both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and front diving lip let it reach depths of 2.40 to 2.90m, while producing fast side-to-side movements and sharp changes of direction that imitate a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system comprising a front diving lip and a rigid plastic tail extension. This system brings the lure’s forward movement to an almost instant stop when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure makes a gentle side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head rise, triggering strikes from predatory fish. The body is made from two durable plastic components and finished with realistic details. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure’s setup. Its suspending action keeps it close to its running depth, with a slow upward drift during pauses. The MKY (Speed Monkey) colour pattern features a dark back, silver flanks with bluish reflections and a light-coloured belly, giving it the appearance of a natural baitfish.
