Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, CBN, 12cm, 15g

Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, CBN, 12cm, 15g

The Rapala RipStop Deep is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and eye-catching colours. Designed for targeting predatory fish such as zander, perch, pike and asp, it is suitable for fishing in both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and diving lip allow it to reach depths of 2.40 to 2.90m, while producing quick side-to-side movements and sharp changes of direction that imitate a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system comprising a diving lip and a rigid plastic tail extension. This causes it to stop almost instantly when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure makes a slight side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head-up rise, triggering strikes from predatory fish. Its body is made from two durable plastic components and finished with realistic details. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure, while its suspending action keeps it close to its running depth, with a slow-rising tendency during pauses. The CBN (Carbon) version features a dark, high-contrast finish.
