Rapala RipStop Deep HDI Lure, 12cm, 15g

Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, HDI, 12cm, 15g

The Rapala RipStop Deep is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and attractive colours. Designed for targeting predatory fish such as zander, perch, pike and asp, it is suitable for fishing in both lakes and rivers. Thanks to its elongated body and front diving lip, it dives to depths of 2.40 to 2.90m, producing quick side-to-side movements and sudden changes of direction that imitate a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system consisting of a front diving lip and a rigid plastic extension at the tail, which brings its forward movement to an almost immediate stop when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure makes a subtle side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head rise to trigger strikes from predatory fish. Its body is made from two durable plastic components and features realistic finishes and details. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the setup, while its suspending action keeps the lure near its working depth, with a slow-rising tendency during pauses. The HDI (Houdini) colour features a semi-transparent finish with natural golden and olive reflections.
