The Rapala Jointed Shad Rap is a shad-style lure made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and eye-catching colours. Designed for targeting predators such as pike, zander and perch, it’s suitable for fishing both lakes and rivers. Its two-piece jointed body delivers a wide, lively action that imitates the movements of an injured baitfish, even at slow retrieve speeds.

The lure is fitted with a deep-diving lip, while its suspending action allows it to stay in the target water layer during pauses in the retrieve. The plastic body features an integrated rattling system that creates sound vibrations to attract predatory fish. Two VMC Black Nickel treble hooks provide effective hook-ups, while the jointed design maintains a stable action at different retrieve speeds.
