The Rapala Jointed is a balsa wood lure available in a wide range of natural and attractive colours. It is designed for targeting predatory species such as trout, chub, perch, zander and pike, and is suitable for fishing in both lakes and rivers. Its two-piece jointed body produces a wide, lively action that mimics the movements of an injured baitfish, even at slow retrieve speeds.

The lure is fitted with a diving lip that allows it to reach depths of 1.5 to 2.1m, depending on retrieve speed. The balsa wood body provides positive buoyancy, allowing the lure to rise towards the surface during pauses. Two VMC Black Nickel treble hooks ensure effective hook-ups, and each lure is hand-tuned and tank-tested for proper action.
