The Rapala Jointed is a lure made from balsa wood and available in a wide range of natural and eye-catching colours. It is designed for targeting predatory fish such as trout, perch, zander and pike, and is suitable for fishing both lakes and rivers. Its two-piece articulated body produces a wide, lively action that imitates the movements of an injured baitfish, even at slow retrieve speeds.

The lure is fitted with a diving lip that allows it to reach depths of 1.2 to 2.4m, depending on retrieve speed. The balsa wood body provides positive buoyancy, allowing the lure to rise towards the surface during pauses. Two VMC Black Nickel treble hooks ensure effective hook-ups, and each lure is hand-tuned and water-tested for proper action.
