Rapala Jigging Shadow Rap Lure, Live Smelt (SML), 9cm, 17g

Rapala Jigging Shadow Rap Lure, Live Smelt (SML), 9cm, 17g

The Rapala Jigging Shadow Rap is a jigging lure specially designed for vertical fishing for predatory fish, both close to the bottom and throughout the water column. Inspired by the famous Jigging Rap, this model features a lighter construction and a Slow Darting action, characterised by slow, controlled lateral movements. Its durable plastic body, with a wide profile and internal metallic finishes, creates attractive flashes as it moves, imitating the movements of a vulnerable baitfish.

Thanks to its hydrodynamic shape and balanced weight distribution, the lure allows precise presentations with successive rod lifts and drops. Its lateral movements and the flashes from the belly help attract cautious predators. The lead-free construction, with zinc ballast, and VMC Black Nickel hooks ensure durability and effectiveness while fishing. It is especially recommended for zander and perch fishing, including in cold-water conditions.
