Rapala Floater Elite 85 is a floating minnow lure crafted from premium balsa, developed from the proven profile and action of the Original Floater series. The construction is optimized for long casts and allows the lure to be fished with very slow retrieves as well as at high speeds.

The balsa body has a natural baitfish profile and delivers Rapala's characteristic Wounded Minnow action, with wobble and roll movements. Flat side panels in the head area enhance the flashes produced during action, and the metallic Gilded Radioactive Smelt finish completes the visual presentation.

Construction includes a continuous stainless steel internal wire for increased strength, and the lure is hand-tuned and water-tested. The FE85 variant runs at approximately 0.9-1.2m and is fitted with two Nr.10 treble hooks.
