Rapala DT Dives-To 12 is a floating crankbait lure, designed to drop quickly to its working depth and to stay in the strike zone as long as possible. The DT12 model reaches a running depth of approximately 3.6m, making it suitable for controlled exploration of deeper water layers.

The body is made from carefully selected balsa wood, and the internal weight distribution, tapered profile and thin tail contribute to the side-to-side action characteristic of the DT series. The thin polycarbonate lip helps the lure dive rapidly, while Quick-Dive balancing keeps it nose-down, ready to plunge immediately after starting the retrieve.

The internal chamber with the Baritone Rattle system produces additional vibrations and sound signals during its run. The lure is fitted with two VMC trebles size #4 with a Black Nickel finish, and each lure is hand-tuned and water-tested for correct action. The Bream variant reproduces a natural prey-fish profile, suitable for situations when predators feed on whitefish.
