The Rapala DT Dives-To 12 is a floating crankbait designed to get down quickly to its working depth and stay in the strike zone as long as possible. The DT12 reaches a diving depth of approximately 3.6m, making it suitable for exploring deeper water layers.

The body is made from carefully selected balsa wood, and the internal weight distribution, tapered profile and thin tail contribute to the strong side-to-side action and vibrations characteristic of the DT series. The slim polycarbonate lip promotes rapid descent, and the Quick-Dive position allows the lure to start diving immediately when retrieval begins.

The internal chamber with the Baritone Rattle system produces additional sound during the lure's run. The lure is balanced for long casts and is equipped with two VMC Black Nickel nr.4 treble hooks. Each lure is hand-tuned and water-tested for correct action.
