Rapala Countdown Lure, Colour YP, 7cm, 8g

Rapala Countdown Lure, Colour YP, 7cm, 8g

The Rapala Countdown is a balsa wood minnow lure designed for predator fishing in both lakes and rivers. It is recommended for trout, chub, perch and zander, and is effective in areas with varying depths where fish are suspended in the water column or holding near submerged structures. Its balanced body and internal weighting allow for accurate casts, while its rolling action mimics the natural movement of prey fish.

With its sinking design, the lure sinks at a steady rate, allowing you to control its depth by adjusting the wait time before retrieval. The 7cm, 8g model has a running depth of 1.5 to 2.4m, making it suitable for steady retrieves or retrieves with pauses. It is fitted with two size 7 VMC Black Nickel treble hooks. The YP (Yellow Perch) colour pattern imitates a perch, with yellow-green tones and dark vertical bars.
