The Combat Micro rods are designed for anglers who need a compact, easy-to-carry setup that still delivers consistent performance on the bank. Based on the same blank used across the Combat range, these models combine a progressive action with a good power reserve, offering balanced behaviour both when casting and during the fight.

The blank is made from 24T carbon with reduced resin content and a matte black finish, helping to cut weight and provide a responsive feel. The series is aimed at anglers who want rods with a reduced transport length, making them suitable for travel, mobile fishing or carrying in confined spaces. The telescopic section integrated into the lower part of the rod allows the overall size to be reduced without affecting the blank’s core characteristics.

Combat Micro models are available in 1.80m, 2.74m and 3.00m lengths, with powers ranging from 3lb to 3.5lb. The compact transport lengths — approximately 115cm for the 2.74m model and 130cm for the 3.00m model — make storage and transport easier. In use, the rods deliver accurate casts and pleasant handling when playing fish.

Equipment includes lightweight Minima guides fitted with an anti-tangle tip ring for efficient line management. Depending on the model, the rod is fitted with a stripping guide of 25mm, 40mm or 50mm. Subtle alignment marks at the ferrule joints make it easy to align the sections correctly, and markers positioned at 30cm and 50cm from the ferrule allow precise line measurement and efficient use of Zig Rig setups.
