Wire Cage is a perforated basket model, open at both ends, with a semi-round body made of stainless steel treated with a special eco-friendly anti-corrosive powder coating that does not pollute the environment (it is non-toxic). The metal weight ensures the basket's stability on the substrate, while the perforations help efficiently disperse the bait into the water. The weight is equipped with an attachment loop, allowing us to quickly attach the basket to any swivel, snap, etc.

Preston Wire Cage baskets with large mesh are ideal in sessions where we fish in shallow water and want the bait to disperse immediately after hitting the water. They are equally useful in sessions where we want to place the bait in the water column to attract fish swimming at various depths. If we want to fish with wetter bait than usual, the mesh of this basket will help the bait to dissolve faster than when using baskets with finer mesh.
