The XCD Sleeve Crimping Pliers are specially designed for crimping sleeves when making rigs with steel, kevlar, monofilament, or fluorocarbon leaders. The jaws are made from carbon steel coated with Teflon, providing excellent corrosion resistance. The pliers have a metallic gray finish, and the handles are covered with non-slip rubber for a very good grip even when your hands are wet.

These multifunctional pliers operate with a lamellar plate (spring-type) mechanism that allows much easier one-handed handling. With these pliers, you can crimp single or double sleeves if you want to make your own leaders from Teflon, fluorocarbon, or kevlar. They come with a braided cord for attaching to your belt, vest, pockets, etc.
