The Penn International 12VISX Reel Silver multiplying reel is made in the USA using both domestic and imported components. The body and side plates are machined from high-strength, lightweight anodized aluminum of premium quality. The gearing is done through a system of stainless steel gears for durability and speed, while the Dura-Drag system ensures a smooth start and almost completely eliminates hesitation, even under extreme drag conditions. Equipped with the Quick-Shift II™ system for fast shifting between two speeds, Versa-Strike to adjust the drag stop point, and a double-click anti-reverse system, this product also provides line capacity rings. Made in Philadelphia, this reel is the result of Penn's long-standing expertise since 1932 in producing durable, high-quality reels.
