Owner Kizuna X8 Broad PE is a next-generation multifilament line made 100% in Japan from the highest quality fibers, braided using a unique technology. The machines producing this line are designed and manufactured in Japan. The technology is called ALB (Anti Loosen Braided) and creates a line that is more twisted than braided. Essentially, raw material strands are twisted and tensioned to produce Kizuna. The result is a unique multifilament known for its strength and suppleness. The line is braided from 8 raw strands until it gains the consistency and look of a twisted rope. Typically, with existing technologies, strands are braided in the same direction or rotation. But ALB technology mixes directions and rotation senses to achieve an exceptionally durable texture.
