The Opinel Nr.08 Animalia Dog Pocket Knife is an engraved handle pocket knife specially designed for collectors and nature lovers. Opinel created the Animalia collection consisting of six different engravings featuring countryside and mountain scenes. Through these original illustrations, designed exclusively for Opinel, the animal world is presented in all its nobility. The Opinel Nr.08 Animalia Dog features an engraving of a dog on the handle.

This is a pocket knife with a total length of 19.3cm weighing only 50g. The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless and modified steel with high corrosion resistance thanks to added chromium, which has undergone a special heat treatment resulting in a hardness of 57-58HRC. The ergonomic handle is made of beech wood resistant to moisture and extreme temperatures (between -40 and +80 degrees C), slightly widened at the end, making the knife comfortable to hold and preventing it from slipping during use. It is equipped with a Virobloc locking system - this locks the blade in the open or closed position, making it easy and safe to store and carry.
