Okuma Compact Reel

The Okuma Compact Reel features a very lightweight corrosion-resistant graphite body, an aluminum spool, a computer-balanced rotor, Quick-Set Anti-Reverse system, Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) system, precision gears, and a central brass pinion. The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) is designed to create a "cyclonic" airflow that significantly increases airflow through the rotor. This carefully tested design allows much faster drying time if the reel gets wet, minimizing the chance of corrosion on its exterior. The CFR system also creates a lighter and stiffer rotor, which reduces bending and rotational flex and ensures smoother mechanical performance. Additionally, the RESII computer-balanced rotor system precisely balances and eliminates all spool wobble for perfect alignment and smooth handling.
