The Nash Siren R4 Presentation Set is an electronic bite alarm system for carp fishing, comprising two Siren R4 alarms and an R4 Receiver. The system is designed to detect bites accurately in a range of fishing conditions, including on large lakes, in areas with submerged weed, and in windy, choppy conditions. Advanced detection technologies distinguish genuine line movement from movement caused by external factors, helping to reduce false alerts.

The Siren R4 alarms feature five sensitivity settings that combine Roller Wheel Sensing, Speed Sensing and Wave Sensing. Roller Wheel Sensing detects line movement across the roller and is suitable even for slow takes. Speed Sensing offers two detection thresholds, for line speeds above 1cm/s or 2cm/s. Wave Sensing adds further line-movement thresholds to reduce alerts caused by waves or moving boats. Drift Sensing Safeguard completes the system by detecting slow line movement caused by weed or other external factors.

Each alarm allows you to adjust the tone and volume across eight levels, select one of five available LED colours and set the LED brightness to one of two levels. Drop Back signals drop-back bites with a descending tone, while three silent modes let you adapt the alarms to different fishing situations. The wide-visibility LEDs can be seen from multiple angles, and Homecoming Mode activates the rear lights on the alarms to help you locate them when moving around by boat at night.

The alarms feature MMCX connectors for direct use with Nash Night Glo illuminated indicators, as well as adaptors for connecting Nash Slap Heads and Bobbins. They have rubberised rod rests to protect the blank, detachable Snag Ears and a compression ring alignment system. The housings have a matt black rubberised finish and a water-resistant design, and each alarm is supplied with an individual PVC cover.

The R4 Receiver reproduces the tones and LED colours of paired alarms and offers a communication range of over 750m in favourable conditions. It features four individual channels and a fifth Buddy channel, which allows you to pair up to 32 additional alarms. Audible alerts, vibration and LED illumination can be configured separately. The anti-theft system sounds an alert if a paired alarm is switched off while protection is active.

The receiver has a rechargeable battery with USB-C charging, offering up to 20 weeks of battery life depending on use, with a charging time of approximately 4 hours. Homecoming Mode can be controlled via the receiver, allowing the rear LEDs on the alarms to be switched on individually or simultaneously. The set is designed for use with two rods and can be expanded by pairing additional compatible alarms.
