Savage Gear Mutant Rat SS Lure, Brown, 24cm, 68g

Savage Gear Mutant Rat SS Lure, Brown, 24cm, 68g

The Savage Gear Mutant Rat SS is a hybrid lure designed for pike fishing, developed to replicate the profile and movement of a rat in the water. The construction combines a rigid head with a soft body and a long tail, resulting in a bulky silhouette and pronounced action even at slow retrieval speeds.

The wide front opening directs water toward the polyester fiber collar, generating pulsations and turbulence during the action. The lure can be worked slowly with short twitches and pauses, during which the flexible parts keep moving and produce visible action.

The model is slow sinking and runs at approximately 0.5 to 1.5m depth. An additional attachment point located under the head allows adding weight for deeper fishing, and the stinger system with two trebles completes the lure's rigging.
