Savage Gear Mutant Rat SS Lure, Black Red, 24cm, 68g

Savage Gear Mutant Rat SS Lure, Black Red, 24cm, 68g

The Savage Gear Mutant Rat SS is a hybrid lure designed for pike fishing, developed to mimic the profile and movement of a rat in the water. The construction combines a rigid head with a soft body and a long tail, resulting in a bulky silhouette and a pronounced action even at slow retrieve speeds.

The wide front opening channels water toward the polyester-fiber collar, generating pulses and turbulence during the retrieve. The lure can be retrieved slowly with short twitches and pauses, in which configuration the flexible elements continue to work and produce visible movement.

The model is Slow Sinking and runs at approximately 0.5–1.5m depth. An additional attachment point located under the head allows adding weight for deeper fishing, and the stinger system with two trebles completes the lure’s rigging.
