Smart Boat Design Colibri Model Boat

The Colibri model boat is designed to safely transport rigs in the compartments, along with bait, thereby avoiding its dragging through the water, tangling of the leader with the main line, or loss of the rig (if there is vegetation or submerged obstacles in the water). When the compartment is released, the rig falls together with the bait in the same spot.

Starting and stopping the model boat is signaled both acoustically and visually, as is the stopping of the remote control without first pressing the model boat's "switch off" button. The manufacturer has implemented a safety feature for accidental starts, so the model boat's motor only runs if the throttle stick is in the neutral position when the remote control is turned on. Another safety feature is the motor shutting down in case of overheating.

The lighting system consists of: navigation lights (white in front and red in the back), which help determine the model boat’s orientation at night. The headlight and navigation lights are switched on and off separately via the remote control.

The integrated voltmeter has 3 alert thresholds: 11.5V-11.0V with an acoustic signal every 30 seconds; 11.0V-10.5V with a sound signal every 15 seconds; below 10.5V the sound signal repeats every 3 seconds and at the same time the main headlight flashes.

Handling: forward-backward, left-right. The motor speed is progressive, accelerating smoothly from minimum to maximum, thanks to the programmable microprocessor throttle controller. The remote control range is between 300-500 meters. Power is supplied by a 12V 7.2 Ah lead-acid battery. Runtime is approximately 5-7 km depending on operating conditions. The battery is positioned at the lowest part, providing maximum stability to the model boat.
