The Minn Kota Ultrex 80 MR MDI is a bow-mount electric motor designed for freshwater fishing and precise boat control. The motor delivers 80lbs of thrust, operates at 24V and features a 132cm composite shaft.

The Power Steering system combines power-assisted steering with intuitive pedal control, providing quick, precise response to directional changes. The Steering Lock feature keeps the motor pointed in the selected direction when your foot is off the pedal, and the Lift-Assist system reduces the effort required to raise and lower the motor.

The integrated GPS system allows automatic position and boat movement control. The Spot-Lock feature holds the boat on a set point, and Spot-Lock with Jog lets you adjust position in steps without disabling the GPS anchoring. The system also enables route recording, speed and heading control, and integration with compatible Humminbird units via One-Boat Network.

The MDI variant is equipped with an integrated MEGA Down Imaging transducer, allowing detailed observation of structure, bottom composition and fish beneath the boat. Integrating the transducer into the motor eliminates the need to mount it separately on the boat and helps protect the wiring.

Digital Maximizer technology manages power consumption according to the speed used, helping extend battery run-time. The motor is supplied with a foot pedal and a Micro Remote, allowing both direct control and wireless access to main functions.
