Korda Spod Braid Fluoro Green is a braided line specially designed for spod fishing. Its nanofilament construction (meaning the line is made of many thin fibers tightly braided) gives it high mechanical resistance – considering it withstands hundreds or thousands of casts during a fishing season – making it the ideal choice for such situations.

With a slim diameter of only 0.16mm and uniform thickness along its entire length, it helps achieve long casting distances (the thinner the line, the farther the cast). Although thin, the declared breaking strength is 9.1kg, making it suitable for sustained baiting campaigns, combined with a thicker leader as recommended by the manufacturer, to withstand powerful casts with a full bait rocket.

The fluorescent green color was specially chosen by Korda experts because it offers good visibility while simultaneously deterring seagulls. It is sold in 300m spools, so you can use the line multiple times throughout a fishing season.

NOTE: If you use a 30lb Arma-Kord leader to absorb the spod’s force during casting, it is recommended to tie it with a grinner knot.
