ICC Big Water Twilight Tilt Buoy with Illuminated Head

The ICC Big Water Distance Twilight Tilt Buoy with Illuminated Head is a luminous buoy that can be used in waters varying from 1m to a maximum depth of 5.9m. The system consists of a set of screw-on, flexible PE tubes that submerge in the water, situated close to the baiting area. The idea is to provide a light signal at night or in dark weather conditions over the fishing spot.

The name Big Water comes from the stabilizing extension (100cm) with a diameter of 25mm, which can be mounted directly onto the lead buoy, thus increasing the stability of the buoy even in surface waters with above-average currents. The black color of the tubes provides perfect camouflage in the water (they practically blend into the underwater environment), while the upper part of the main tube protruding from the water is visible thanks to reflective strips (red, orange, and white) and the luminous head (12cm). The reflective strips can be seen from great distances when illuminated with a flashlight at night.

The Distance model differs from the simple Big Water model by the size of the 12cm luminous head. The cylindrical shape of the luminous head is clearly visible even from a very long distance (400-500 meters). It has been tested on large water surfaces, where the buoy's body can be seen from a distance of 70-80cm from the water's surface, even during major waves/storms.

The luminous head is completely waterproof, with the twilight LED turning on automatically when it gets dark and then turning off during the day (it has a built-in photosensitive cell). The luminous head can last 500 - 600 hours (operates with two AAA batteries), under continuous operating conditions. Inside the tubes, rubber plugs ensure complete sealing, thus providing air chambers for each extension tube.

The enormous advantage provided by this type of buoy is that it does not allow the fish to get snagged during the fight. Thanks to the flexible connector at the base of the lead buoy, the buoy leans, allowing the fishing line to pass over it. The buoy is anchored to the bottom with a 1.4kg sintered black lead weight included in the package. The buoy is delivered with a waterproof compartmentalized transport bag made of polyester, which has a zip closure.
