5161-M is a hunting knife designed for hunting enthusiasts and for those who appreciate active outdoor survival recreation, produced by Muela in Ciudad de Real, Spain. It is durable, robust, and can withstand all conditions without damage. Muela knives, which began being produced in a small room in the 1950s by the Muela family, are now exported to over 50 countries on 5 continents. Muela, with an annual production capacity of 350,000 knives, exports 70% of its production abroad, with the rest for the domestic market.

The blade is made from a combination of molybdenum and vanadium, resulting in the MoVa X50CrMoV15 stainless steel forged manually, with a Brinell hardness of HB 55-57 RC, giving it extremely high resistance to corrosion and wear. The side opposite the edge features a universal file used for cutting wood, ropes, or straps. The robust blade is engraved with the knife model and the Muela logo to certify the authenticity and quality of the product. The handle is made from a combination of zamak and hand-polished red coral pakkawood. Pakkawood or pakka wood is a composite wood/plastic material from which moisture is removed through a vacuum process. The resulting pieces are then bonded together with phenolic resins under high pressure, creating a material highly resistant to wear. Zamak (an acronym for Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium, and Copper) is an alloy of several metals, with zinc as the base metal and alloying metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper, resulting in a very durable material over time. On the front part of the handle, near the blade, there is a zamak guard to enhance safety and prevent the palm from slipping toward the edge during use, and at the end, there is a zamak pommel.

The knife is delivered in a cardboard box along with a handmade black natural leather protective sheath crafted by "Quercur Leathercraft," with a certificate of authenticity and a warranty certificate. The sheath features a snap closure system and has the Muela logo embossed in relief. It can be attached to a belt. All Muela knives pass through the hands of experienced master cutlers who finish each piece in an artisanal and meticulous manner, sharpening, polishing, and subjecting it to rigorous quality control.
