Savage Gear Hop Popper Frog, Gill Colour, 5.50cm, 15g

Savage Gear Hop Popper Frog, Gill, 5.50cm, 15g

The Savage Gear Hop Popper Frog is a topwater lure designed for predator fishing, especially for pike and perch, in areas with abundant aquatic vegetation, lily pads or other cover. It features a soft, hollow body with a realistic frog profile and a concave mouth that creates splashes and surface disturbance on the retrieve. Work it with short popping movements or use a Walk-the-Dog technique to imitate a moving frog. The flexible body compresses when a fish strikes, helping the hook set, while the sturdy upward-facing hook reduces the risk of snagging in vegetation. Rubber strands at the rear enhance the lure’s natural action, while the realistic finish with hand-painted details helps attract predators.
