Guru F1 Maggot Hook Rigs are ready-tied hooklengths designed for pole and float fishing, especially for targeting F1 carp, crucian carp, bream and other coarse fish. They are fitted with Guru F1 Maggot hooks, developed for fishing with small natural baits such as maggots, casters, pinkies and small earthworms.

The F1 Maggot hooks are made from fine wire and feature a narrow gape and a fine, sharp, straight point. This design allows delicate baits to be hooked with minimal damage, helping to create a natural presentation. The hooks have a spade end and are barbless, making them suitable for competitive coarse fishing and use on commercial fisheries.

The hooks feature a protective PTFE coating that provides a matt, low-glare finish and helps protect against corrosion. Their shape allows the bait to sit around the bend while keeping the point exposed for effective hooking, even when fish give delicate bites.

The hooks are tied with Guru N-Gauge or N-Gauge Pro monofilament, depending on the version, using consistently tied knots for a strong connection. The 6-inch (15.24cm) length offers versatility for pole and float fishing, allowing the rig to be adapted to different conditions and fish behaviour.

At the end opposite the hook, each rig has a Figure-of-Eight loop for quick attachment to the main line. The hooks are secured to a storage board for easy storage and transport.
