Humminbird HELIX 5 CHIRP SI GPS G3 is a compact GPS fishfinder designed for fishing and navigation, equipped with a 5inch color display and Side Imaging, Down Imaging and Dual Spectrum CHIRP features. The combination of these sonar technologies allows analysis of underwater structure both to the sides and directly beneath the boat.

Side Imaging technology scans areas alongside the boat, providing information about structures, obstacles and fish without needing to pass directly over the surveyed area. Down Imaging is used to obtain a detailed image of the structure beneath the boat.

Dual Spectrum CHIRP complements the imaging features by displaying targets and structure using 2D sonar. Different operating modes allow beam adjustment according to the required coverage and detail.

The built-in GPS allows marking waypoints, creating routes and recording tracks. The AutoChart Live feature can be used to create custom bathymetric charts directly while underway by recording depth and structure of the covered area.

The unit has a MicroSD card slot and is compatible with corresponding Humminbird and Navionics charts. Function control is handled via the buttons located on the front of the unit.
