The Pole Position Gamakatsu S-Type is a Teflon-coated hook produced in collaboration with the Japanese market leader Gamakatsu and designed by Pole Position. This has resulted in hooks that excel in strength, design, and above all, sharpness. The S-Type can be used in many situations and is a characteristic hook style in the Pole Position hook range. The combination of a very long, straight point (with a micro barb) and a medium-length shank makes this hook extremely aggressive. A small extension of the hook shank using pre-made alignments or possibly a piece of shrink tubing will allow this hook to turn even faster. The hooks are made from forged Japanese steel, feature a PTFE finish, and the sharp tip crafted with special technology ensures a long lifespan. This hook is suitable for fishing in snags and gravel areas.
