ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 EVO Remote S is a compact outboard electric motor designed to propel inflatable boats, lightcraft and small sailboats. The motor delivers 1kW of power, roughly equivalent to about 3CP in a combustion engine, and uses a direct-drive propulsion system that is quiet and requires minimal maintenance.

This version is fitted with a 625mm short shaft and a Side Mount Control system, intended for installation on boats with a helm station. The control allows progressive power adjustment and selection of direction, while the integrated display provides information about system operation.

The motor is powered by the detachable Spirit Battery Plus battery with a capacity of 1276Wh. The battery mounts directly to the top of the motor, eliminating the need for cables and an external battery in the standard configuration. The battery is constructed to float in the event of accidental immersion.

Spirit 1.0 EVO features regenerative charging, allowing the battery to recharge when the boat is under sail or being towed at an appropriate speed. The system begins recovering energy during movement from approximately 4 knots.

Direct drive propulsion removes the need for a traditional geared transmission, contributing to quiet operation and reduced maintenance tasks. The motor is suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater.
