The ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 EVO Remote S is an outboard electric motor designed to propel inflatable boats, light craft and small sailing boats. The motor delivers 1kW of power, roughly equivalent to 3CP in a combustion engine, and uses a Direct Drive propulsion system with a brushless electric motor.

This version is fitted with a 625mm short shaft and the Evo Top Mount Control system, intended for steering from the vessel's helm. The control unit can be mounted on the console and allows for smooth throttle adjustment and forward/reverse selection.

The motor is powered by the Spirit Battery Plus, with a capacity of 1276Wh. The removable battery mounts directly on top of the motor, creating a compact, easy-to-install assembly. The battery's floating design allows it to stay on the surface if accidentally dropped overboard.

The Spirit 1.0 EVO features a hydrogeneration function, through which the battery can recover energy when the boat is moving at an appropriate speed. This feature is especially useful for sailboats, where sailing under wind can be used to recharge the battery.

The Direct Drive system eliminates a conventional gearbox and contributes to quiet operation, reduced vibration and low maintenance. The motor can be used in both freshwater and saltwater.
