IXTREK is a compact and lightweight reel built around a graphite body, providing enhanced resistance against dirt and corrosion. The 7 stainless steel ball bearings (6BB + 1RB), together with the sturdy shaft and computer-balanced rotor, offer a precise assembly and smooth operation.

The long cast aluminum spool generates less friction during casts and optimizes casting performance. The round metal line clip helps secure the fishing line when practicing fixed-point fishing. The Anti Twist system precisely lays the coils on the spool and reduces the risk of accidental tangles.

The front multi-disc drag system (Drag System Oiled Felt) features both steel and oil-impregnated felt discs, allowing very fine adjustment during the fight. The Quick Set Infinite Anti-Reverse system (unidirectional roller bearing) permits one-way rotation of the rotor.

The IXTREK reel handle is fixed to the body by screwing into an internal nut, minimizing play and ensuring a very reliable attachment. The handle itself has a rubberized surface to provide increased grip while being comfortable to the touch.

NOTE: Sizes 2000 and 3000 reels can be successfully used for waggler or spinning fishing, while sizes 4000 and 5000 are recommended for feeder fishing. The reels are sold without spare spools (these can be purchased separately for an additional cost).
